How do I react to the Check Control message "Top up coolant", "Drive fault" or "Engine overheated" in the central instrument of my MINI?

The exhaust gas recirculation cooler (EGR cooler) of certain MINI models does not meet the quality standard of the BMW Group. The BMW Group has decided on an "exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR cooler)" recall campaign for the affected vehicles. If you receive the Check Control messages "Top up coolant", "Drive fault" or "Engine overheated" in the central instrument of your MINI, follow the instructions in the message and contact an authorised MINI Service Partner as soon as possible.
