When should I activate deep sleep mode in my MINI with Operating System 9?

Deep sleep mode in your MINI with Operating System 9 is an energy-optimised mode that conserves the vehicle battery and allows you to park for longer. You should activate deep sleep mode if you plan a stationary period for your vehicle for several weeks, e.g. before a holiday, for long-term parking at the airport, for a second vehicle that is not used regularly, for a seasonal vehicle (e.g. MINI convertible) or if you do not move your vehicle for a longer period of time for other reasons. Please note: By deactivating the anti-theft alarm system, you can further increase the possible stationary period.

 

Deep sleep mode is available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 and software version from 07/2025.
