If the image on the Head-up Display in your MINI is blurry, distorted, doubled or slightly skewed, this is often due to your individual seating and viewing position. The Head-up Display is designed for a specific field of view. If the display is moved significantly upwards, downwards or to the side, the visual appearance may be affected.
This can be remedied by adjusting the Head-up Display position to suit your personal seat position. The display should be positioned as centrally as possible within your field of view so that all four corners of the projection are fully and evenly visible.
This behaviour is due to technical reasons and does not represent a defect. It is not usually necessary to replace the Head-up Display.
