Why is the reading light in my MINI so dim?

The brightness of the individual reading lights in your MINI vehicle can be adjusted. In some vehicles, the brightness is set to a low level ex works. This is not a vehicle fault.

If the reading light seems too dim, you can adjust the brightness directly via the vehicle menu:

  1. Apps menu path
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Interior lighting"
  4. "Reading light per seat"

Then select the seat you want and adjust the brightness to suit your personal preferences. The change will be accepted immediately.
