If the MINI voice assistant does not respond to either the activation word or the multifunction button, in some cases, this may be due to a recent software update. However, it is possible that not all of the system apps have been fully updated or synchronised in the background, which means that the voice assistant may temporarily not respond correctly.
In this case, please ensure that all available software and app updates have been fully installed in the vehicle. The vehicle system can then be restarted and the voice assistant set up again, if necessary.
If the voice assistant still does not respond after this, your MINI Service Partner will be happy to assist you with further troubleshooting.
