What is the purpose of the LED in the wireless charging tray of my MINI?

Depending on the model, production date and equipment of your MINI, an LED is installed in the wireless charging tray, which indicates the current state of charge of the smartphone. If the LED is blue, the smartphone is being charged. If the LED is orange, the charging process is paused because your smartphone has become too warm or there is an item in the tray that cannot be charged. If the display is red, the smartphone will not be charged due to a technical fault.
