How should I position my smartphone in the wireless charging tray of my MINI?

You can inductively charge your smartphone in the wireless charging tray of your MINI up to a certain maximum size. Depending on the model, production date and equipment of your MINI, the mobile signal from your smartphone in the wireless charging tray is amplified via the MINI roof aerial and the radiation in the passenger area is reduced. For optimum charging power and maximum signal strength, place your smartphone in the middle of the storage tray with the screen facing up. You can tell whether your smartphone is correctly positioned by a change in the signal strength on your smartphone or in the central instrument of your MINI. If the signal strength is low, try to move the smartphone in the wireless charging tray or rotate it 180 degrees, paying attention to a change in signal strength after a few seconds.
