Why doesn't my MINI with Comfort Access lock contactlessly when I move away from the vehicle?

Your MINI with Comfort Access locks contactlessly as soon as you leave the locking zone (radius of approx. 2 metres around the door handles) with your vehicle key. All doors and the boot lid must be closed and the drive-ready state must be switched off. There must not be a second vehicle key within six metres of the vehicle. You must activate automatic unlocking in the MINI system. If a person is detected in the front passenger seat and the passenger's seat belt is in the buckle when locking, the vehicle is locked without activating the alarm system and the fuel filler flap remains unlocked. Please note: The settings for each vehicle key are saved to a personal driver profile.
