How does locking and unlocking my MINI with Comfort Access work?

The option "Comfort Access" (SA 322) allows you keyless access to your MINI. Depending on the model, you can conveniently lock and unlock the driver and front passenger doors, the tailgate and the Split Doors at the press of a button on the door handle.

With the Easy Opener function, the tailgate or Split Doors can also be opened hands-free using a foot gesture, via a motion sensor located in the area of the rear apron. The Split Doors open one after the other – first the right-hand one, then the left-hand one.

Please note that your MINI cannot be locked if a valid main key is in the vehicle interior.
