Can the radio signal of the vehicle key of my MINI with Comfort Access be read by unauthorised persons in order to unlock the vehicle?

No. The radio signal of the vehicle key of your MINI with Comfort Access cannot be read by unauthorised persons. Your vehicle can only be unlocked if there is a verified vehicle key nearby. In vehicles with production from 2021, position determination and data transfer are carried out via the ultra-wideband (UWB) mobile standard. In addition, the vehicle key remote control deactivates automatically after two minutes at rest.
