How can I protect my MINI from theft?

To protect your MINI from theft, you should always make sure that all windows, doors, the tailgate or boot lid, and the slide/tilt sunroof are completely closed when leaving the vehicle and that the alarm system is activated. Depending on the equipment of your MINI, the "anti-theft recorder" notifies you about a break-in attempt via the MINI App. As additional protection against "relay attacks", in which unauthorised persons try to extend the radio signal of the vehicle key, you can store your vehicle key in an RFID protection bag after leaving the vehicle.
