What can I do if the boot lid of my MINI with Comfort Access cannot be opened without touching it?

You can open the tailgate or boot lid of your MINI contactlessly with the option "Comfort Access" (SA 322) when you have the vehicle key with you or the Digital Key Plus on your smartphone. Sensors detect a forward foot movement in the centre rear area and the tailgate or boot lid is opened. If necessary, vary the distance to the bumper or the speed and angle of the foot movement. Ice, snow or wetness can impair the function. The selector or gearshift lever must be in the P (Park) position. Depending on the model, you may need to activate the function in the MINI system. The function is not available when using a trailer hitch.
