MINI how-to guide: This is how you activate or deactivate the automatic folding of the exterior mirrors when locking in your MINI with Operating System 9.

To prevent damage when parking, the exterior mirrors of your MINI with Operating System 9 can be folded in automatically when locking.

Requirements:

  • Your MINI with Operating System 9 requires the option "Interior and exterior mirror package" (SA 313) or "Electric seat adjustment with memory" (SA 459).
  • You must be logged in to your MINI with your MINI ID.

Important notes:

  • Your settings are saved for your MINI ID.
  • You can also fold or unfold the exterior mirrors manually using the button for the exterior mirror operation in the door trim panel.

Depending on the national-market version, model and equipment of your MINI, the availability and the operating principle may vary.

Step 1:
Open the Apps menu.

Step 2:
Select "VEHICLE" (menu bar at the top).

Step 3:
Select "Doors and windows".

Step 4:
Select "Lock" (menu bar on the left).

 

Step 5:

Switch "Fold in mirrors when locking/unlocking" on or off.
