MINI how-to guide: This is how you save an activation point for the automated power window in your MINI with Operating System 9.

The "automated power window" function automatically opens the window on the driver's side of your MINI with Operating System 9 at saved activation points.

Requirements:

  • Your MINI with Operating System 9 requires an active "MINI Connected package" subscription from the MINI Connected Store.
  • You must be logged in to your MINI with your MINI ID.

Important notes:

  • You can save up to 40 activation points.
  • The function is available at speeds of up to approx. 10 km/h.
  • Your MINI requires a mobile connection. Avoid places with poor mobile phone reception, such as underground car parks.

Step 1:

Position your MINI where you want the window to open automatically.

 

Step 2:
Open the Apps menu.

Step 3:
Select "VEHICLE" (menu bar at the top).

Step 4:
Select "Doors and windows".

Step 5:
Select "Automated power window".

 

Step 6:

Switch on "Automated power window".

 

Step 7:

Activate location access with "Allow".

 

Step 8:

Select "Add activation point".

 

Step 9:

Confirm with "Save activation point".
