What advantages do Original MINI "run-flat" tyres offer?

Original MINI run-flat tyres cannot loosen from the rim in the event of a sudden loss of pressure thanks to reinforced flanks. When the air escapes from the tyre, the strong rubber walls carry the weight of the car. By driving without air, the tyre cover rolls strongly. The special rubber compounds of the run-flat tyre are adapted to the resulting heat. In the event of tyre damage, you can continue your journey with restrictions and with a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Further information can be found in the MINI Driver's Guide app or the Owner's Handbook for your MINI
